Scholarships

The application period for 2017-18 Department of Accountancy scholarships is now closed.

Each year, Western Michigan University accountancy majors are invited to apply for various scholarships available to all business students through the Haworth College of Business. In addition, students majoring in accountancy are encouraged to apply for scholarships on line.

The qualifications and conditions associated with each scholarship are listed below.

  • BDO Seidman LLP Scholarship
  • Brink, Key and Chludzinski P.C. Scholarship in Accountancy
    • Full-time junior, senior or M.S.A. student
    • Accountancy major
    • Interest in a career in public accounting
    • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
  • Crowe Horwath LLC Outstanding Accounting Student Scholarship
    • Citizen of, or authorized to work in, the United States
    • Desire to live and work in Michigan
    • Displays leadership skills
    • Michigan resident
    • Junior entering senior year in the fall
    • Accountancy major with a 3.3 or better GPA
