Often called the "Greek Advisor," this professional works closely with campus administrators, the North-American Interfraternity Council (NIC), National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), staff at intern/national headquarters offices, chapter volunteers, and other campus staff. The FSA helps ensure that chapters and councils are staying abreast of changing national policies and trends, supports their development and sustainability at WMU, and helps foster students' leadership roles on campus.
At Western Michigan University, the FSA (or Assistant Director of SALP) is supported by Fraternity & Sorority Life Graduate Assistants. For advising assistance, please contact a member of the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff.
The FSA's office can be found in 223 Bernhard Center, in the administrative offices for Student Activities & Leadership Programs. The Graduate Assistants' office is located in Room 131 on the Bernhard Center's main floor, directly across from the Bigelow Cafeteria.
