The Leadership and Involvement Conference is for any student who is involved on campus and wants to improve their leadership skills. Whether you are a student employee, a peer mentor, part of an Registered Student Organization or just want to develop your leadership skills, the Leadership and Involvement Conference has something for you!
The Leadership and Involvement Conference provides participants the environment and tools necessaryfor participants to learn new skills, connect with other leaders on campus and to plan for their upcoming leadership commitments on campus. The conference will feature educational sessions and workshops designed to teach new concepts and facilitate learning, keynote addresses to inspire and motivate, and social experiences to foster networking and relationship-building. Educational sessions will focus on these four areas: Leadership and Organizations, Career/Grad School Prep, Personal Development and Civic Engagement.
The 2014 Leadership and Involvement Conference will be taking place Friday August 15 – Saturday August 16, 2014 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel. Registration is now live at MyWMU.com/lic.
Registration Costs for WMU students:
Conference and Quad Room: $35
Conference and Double Room: $50
Conference and Single Room: $125
Registration Costs for non-WMU students:
Conference and Quad Room: $185
Conference and Double Room: $225
Conference and Single Room: $290
Any organization/department sponsoring non-WMU students will receive a $25 discount on their total for every 5 students they sponsor.
