Chicago for the Summer!

I can’t believe that my junior year here at WMU is almost over. At this point,
we’ve got about two weeks left of class, and then exams! I’m so, so excited
because I just recently got offered an internship in Niles, Illinois! I’m going
to be working with Specialty Print Communications on a campaign they have with
the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for two and a half months! I’m so stoked
because not only do I have a summer job, but it actually takes care of a
requirement that I need to graduate from the print program! In the fall, I’ll
have to take a class where I write about my experiences in the internship as
they relate to graphic and printing sciences. It’s going to be really cool! The
city where the company is located is about 15 miles outside of Chicago, so I’m
going to be living in the city and driving to and from work! I loooovveeeee
Chicago and am so lucky to get to spend a summer exploring it! Right now, I’m in
the process of looking for places to live and figuring everything out. It’s a
lot to take in and definitely a little bit scary, but I can’t wait! I’m going to
be posting the whole time that I’m there about my different experiences and
adventures, so stay tuned! It’s a great day to be a Bronco!
