WMU is located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and as typical of the Midwest, gets quite a bit of snow. The temperatures hover in the low teens from December to early March. Significant rainfall normally occurs in April and May when temperatures start to rise. Late May will definitely see a warming trend. June, July and August temperatures range from the high 70s to high 80s, occasionally spiking in the 90s. Humidity tends to be the worse in July and August.
Most student activities are indoors during the winter months, so the weather tends to have little effect.
