"It’s really great to see what this project has become. It’s hard to believe that this was just a spur of the moment idea back in late January. To go from that, to being a campus-wide initiative involving students and faculty from multiple departments is more than I could have ever imagined. I really appreciate the support and the enthusiasm from all those involved with the project!!"

Cari Delong – Graduate Student
Hometown: White Hall, MI
Major: Geography

This project is a great asset to the University, not only by showcasing WMU's diverse student talent but also in its recruitment application; potential students and visitors can get a more realistic feel for our campus. It is a great example of the creativity and use of innovative technology going on at WMU.

Gregory Adamczyk – Senior
Hometown: Marlette, MI
Major: Mechanical Engineering

"It took a lot of hard work from the whole team and to see what we've accomplished is really exciting. Everyone on the team really joined together on the overall goal and put their heart and sole into it. It's impressive what a few college students can do when they put their mind towards something and have the right person leading."

Gus Martinka – Senior
Hometown: Vassar, MI
Major: Geography

"The 3d Campus project was a lot of fun and I am very proud of the finished product. Having our campus available for anyone to tour over the internet is something that very few campuses have right now and the fact that it was all done by students shows how great our school is."

James Eichstaedt – Graduate Student
Hometown: Kalamazoo, Mi
Major: Geography

"I believe this project has paved the way for innovative student ideas that can be adopted by the University. We have watched this project grow from a competition, to where it is now, to the endless possibilities in the future."
