Karen S. Behnke

1979 Bachelor of Science

Ms. Behnke, a registered nurse, founded Execu-Fit Health Programs, Inc. in 1983. Under her leadership, the San Francisco-based company grew into a nationwide health promotion business with annual revenues in excess of $5 million and more than 100 corporate clients in thirty states. In 1991, she sold the company but remains its president. She was named San Francisco Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 1987 and has received numerous awards from the American Heart Association.
