Constituent Societies

Constituent Groups

Constituent groups, sometimes called societies, are comprised of alumni and friends who have common interests arising from their University experience. Such groups are organized on the basis of academic affiliation or other affinity and bring alumni together to provide service and support to Western Michigan University as well as to the specific programs of common interest to the group.

WMU alumni are working together to serve and support the University, its academic units, current and prospective students and each other in the following constituent groups/societies:
