Giraud is "saved" and heads to next round
American Idol judges saved WMU's Matt Giraud, B.A. '07, from certain elimination on this week's 'American Idol,' using their one "save" of the season, keeping him in the competition for another week. Giraud will have to step it up as he heads to the next round where two 'Idol' contestants will be voted off of the next show.

Register for WMU Day at the Capitol
WMU alumni are invited to share their Bronco pride with Michigan's decision makers by participating in the second annual WMU Day at the Capitol. Perini named Academic All-MAC for 3rd year
Western Michigan University gymnast Andrea Perini was among the names listed as Academic All-Mid-American Conference, making it the third year in a row she has received such honors. A senior from Sterling Heights, Mich., Perini carries a 3.65 GPA in exercise science. More
