Priority assignments will be given to non traditional students, graduate students and students with families. As space is available, upperclass students will be accomodated.
You don't need to be eligible at the time you apply, but requirements must be met by move-in time.
Any student requesting disability related accomodations with respect to housing and/or dining should contact Western Michigan University's Disability Services for Students at (269) 387-2116.
Assignments are made based on the date the application is submitted, so applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Every effort is made to assign you to your first choice. However, the vacancy status at the time of assignment may necessitate assigning you to your second or third choice. A transfer to another location may be permitted after occupancy. If an assignment is not possible, you will be notified approximatiely 30 days before your move-in date so you can explore housing alternatives.
There is no application fee or penalty for not accepting an assignment.
