Undergraduate readmission application
For students who previously attended WMU or applied within the past
two years but never enrolled. Please note: If you were academically
dismissed, you must complete this application and meet with an
academic advisor in the WMU college you wish to enter.
Undergraduate non degree admission application
If you are not seeking a degree and only wish to take classes, you may
apply for Non-Degree status. You must use this printable form. Non-Degree
status may limit both course and financial aid options. Acceptance for
Non-Degree does not constitute degree admission to WMU.
Second bachelor's degree or post baccalaureate initial teacher certification admission application
For those who have a bachelor's degree and now wish to obtain a
second bachelor's degree and those who have graduated from a four-year, accredited college or university
and now wish to obtain Michigan teacher certification.
Guest application
For undergraduate students currently at other colleges seeking guest student status at WMU. If you have already earned a bachelor's degree, please use the Graduate non-degree application.
High school dual enrollment application
For high school students seeking permission to take WMU classes while
enrolled in high school.
Senior citizen's opportunity program in education (SCOPE)
Persons who are 62 years of age or older may qualify for this non-degree
program, which is also known as Project SCOPE. Students who want to register
for credit are not eligible for SCOPE. Depending on the level of study you choose to pursue, please use the undergraduate application or graduate non-degree application. Read more about SCOPE in the online academic catalog.
