Lynn Batchelder's work is part of Suspend.ed in Pink, an international exhibition traveling Europe and the US through September. 'Suspend.ed in pink', seeks to explore the world of jewelry as it is NOW. With a focus on concept driven jewelry, also known as art or research jewelry, this call out is looking for wearable pieces that contain the colour PINK. The result will be a juxtaposition of jewelers, themes and styles, all suspended from the gallery's ceiling, which will invite the viewer to engage and interact with the work. Venues include: The Atrium Gallery, The School of Jewellery, Birmingham University. England, Studio Gabi Green, Munich, Germany - as part of Schmuck 2013, and Heidi Lowe Gallery, U.S.A.
Lynn (B.F.A. '09 with emphasis in Metals/Jewelry) is currently completing her final semester of graduate school at SUNY New Paltz in New York and is currently working on completing her MFA exhibition—congratulations and we wish you well Lynn!
