Volunteer

A group of volunteersThere is always work to be done at Asylum Lake Preserve, and since it is open to the public, we are all stewards of this property. If you are a person who enjoys this property, volunteering is a great way to show your appreciation. From removing invasive vegetation to picking up litter, there are plenty of activities you can get involved in to make Asylum Lake a better place. Western Michigan University's Natural Areas Program often needs volunteers for special events, such as school field trips as well. Please contact WMU Landscape Services for more information.
