Advising

Academic, major and career advising are critical components to your progress toward graduation. Faculty members offer guidance on any questions you may have regarding their area of expertise while academic advisors ensure you fulfill all of the requirements for your chosen area of study.

Major Advising: Faculty members are available for advising about majors and minors. They hold advising hours specifically for this purpose. If you have any questions about your major or career, use the advising hours schedule to find a faculty advisor.

Academic Advising: Students should visit an academic advisor in the Office of Advising and Admissions each semester to ensure they are fulfilling requirements and making progress toward graduation. If you have any questions about your program, contact the Office of Advising and Admissions or schedule an appointment by calling 269-387-5075.

Career Advising: The Career Center located in 3020 Schneider Hall, facilitates career exploration and professional development through innovative programming and advising, empowering students to launch satisfying business careers. The Career Center provides extensive information about career and major choice on its website. Explore these resources or schedule an appointment with a career advisor.
