“I donate money every year, specifically to the Marketing Department. I have increased the size of my donation every year. I follow the sporting teams and root for them. I put WMU stickers outside my office door. I proudly let people know that I’m a Bronco!”

“I contribute to the WMU Foundation and specify that my contributions go to the Department of Accountancy each year. Whenever students call asking me for my pledge, I always take the call, give them my pledge, and send in my contribution.”
Emily Chalifoux, BBA ’06 “I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to support HCOB financially since graduation, and working for a company that matches gifts dollar for dollar is a huge benefit! I’ve also gotten to help support several students as they made the difficult decision on whether or not to attend grad school, and if so, which one.”

“I have made donations to WMU both financially and with my time. I have helped recruit individuals to the University for both academics and athletics. I have helped graduates interview and find jobs post graduation in various fields through my personal connections and have offered to come in and speak when appropriate. I am always promoting and talking about my University as many people from the East Coast / NYC don’t know much about WMU and how strong its undergraduate business program is in developing its students for the jobs available.”

“As an alumnus, there are many ways to foster the development of the Haworth College of Business and its students, whether through mentorship, networking, or providing job contacts or opportunities. But as business people, we know that without funding, the College wouldn't be able to provide such great educational foundation for its students. For me, supporting Haworth is important because it means I'm helping students gain access to the same opportunities that I was afforded. Doing my part to improve the experience of being a student at the University is a responsibility we all should take seriously and provide support in whatever way we can. I hope you will as well.”
