Career Center open houses

  • An event for Western Michigan University Haworth College of Business students. Stop by the career center to learn more about how we can help you. Career center staff members will be present to answer questions. There will also be a resource table and light refreshments. Some employers will be available for networking.
  • Dates: Monday, Sept. 14; 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Tuesday, Sept. 22; 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • An open house in the communication center will occur simultaneously on both dates.

Resume ReVamp!

  • An opportunity for business students to drop off their resumes in order to receive written recommendations for improvement within three days. Further details will be provided regarding the process when resumes are dropped.

Business Bash

  • An event for Haworth College of Business students. Coordinated by the Student Leadership Advisory Board, Business Bash is designed to welcome new and returning business students and acquaint them with student organizations, academic departments, career center and study abroad office. Stop by the career center table to pick up a career development guide and other great resources.

After Bash

  • An opportunity for Premier Partners of the career center to meet faculty, staff, and board members of business-related registered student organizations (RSOs). Snacks and beverages provided.

  • Business Career Day attracts more than 100 organizations to campus each October. Held in the Bernhard Center, the event offers all students an opportunity to meet with employer representatives to discuss internships and professional employment opportunities.
