Tomika Griffin-Brown is a native of Detroit. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University in April 2004 and her Master of Arts with a concentration in educational leadership in higher education and student affairs in April 2011. Griffin-Brown started her career with WMU September 2008 in financial aid as a bronco express services team representative; she joined the Haworth College of Business as an undergraduate academic advisor in January 2011. In this role she has the duty of advising undergraduate business students regarding their curriculum, major selection and course offerings, transfer credits and study abroad. She also has the responsibility for ensuring pre-business requirements are met prior to students being accepted into the college of business. In addition to her role as an undergraduate academic advisor, Griffin-Brown sits on the Diversity Committee for the Haworth College of Business. She also teaches first year experience at WMU.
