Tom Zemrowsk is an instructor of computer information systems at Western Michigan University. His background includes more than 30 years of systems work at the former Upjohn Company, now Pfizer. His major area of interest included project management involving the integration of technology with business. A number of increasingly integrated projects within the company led to the implementation of SAP in direct response to the Y2K challenge in the late 1990s.
The CIS program provides the bridge that students need to succeed in today’s world of business. Zemrowski believes that the nexus of information and communication technology with business skills assures job security in the 21st century. Continuous learning demands an open attitude toward change long after the student leaves the classroom.
