Dr. Roger Y. W. Tang, professor of accountancy and Upjohn Chair of Business Administration, and Dr. Ali M. Metwalli, professor of finance, had their paper "Mergers and Acquisitions in Greater China: An Update" published in the January/February, 2012 edition of Journal of Corporate Accounting and Finance.

Dr. Jennifer Palthe, associate professor of management, had her paper titled "Integrating Human Rights in Business Education: Embracing the Social Dimension of Sustainability" accepted for publication in the Journal of Business for Education.

Dr. Ali M. Metwalli, professor of finance, and Dr. Roger Y. W. Tang, professor of accountancy and Upjohn Chair of Business Administration, had their paper "Mergers and Acquisitions in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh" accepted for publication in the International Journal of Commerce and Management.

Dr. Ola Smith, associate professor of accountancy, Dr. Roger Y. W. Tang, professor of accountancy and Upjohn Chair of Business Administration, and Dr. Paul San Miguel, assistant professor of accountancy, had their paper "Arab American Entrepreneurship in Detroit Michigan" accepted for publication in the American Journal of Business.

Dr. Satish Deshpande, associate dean for operations and graduate programs and professor of management, and Dr. Jim DeMello, professor of finance, had their paper on “Career Satisfaction of Psychiatrists,” published in the September, 2011 edition of Psychiatric Services.

Dr. Kelley O'Reilly, assistant professor of marketing, and Dr. Sherry Marx (Utah State University) had an article published in Qualitative Market Research: An International Journal (Volume 14 (4), 330-359), titled, "How young, technical consumers determine online WOM credibility."

Alicia Izquierdo Yusta (WMU Visiting Professor from University of Burgos, Spain) and Dr. Roberta J. Schultz, published “Understanding The Effect Of Internet Convenience On Intention To Purchase Via The Internet,” (2011), Vol. 5 (4 Fall) Journal of Marketing Development & Competitiveness, pp. 32-50.

Dr. Robert L. Harrison, assistant professor of marketing, co-authored a book chapter, with James Gentry and Suraj Commuri, titled, “Gender Role Transition to Involved Parenting: The Role of Household Production and Consumption in the Lives of Single Fathers,” in the forthcoming book, “Gender, Culture and Consumer Behavior.”

Dr. Grace Lemmon, assistant professor of management, and co-authors Jenny Hoobler and Sandy Wayne, both from the University of Illinois at Chicago, had their paper entitled "Women's Managerial Aspirations:  An Organizational Development Perspective" accepted for publication in the Journal of Management.  

Dr. Kelley O'Reilly, assistant professor of marketing, and co-author, David Paper, had an article published in the Journal of Research in Marketing and Entrepreneurship titled "Can CRM Survive Integrating Franchisees with a Corporate Giant?" In addition, O’Reilly had an invited editorial article published, with co-author David Paper, Ph.D from Utath State University, over the summer. The article was published in Information Resources Management Journal titled "Technology's 'Sweet Spot' for Customer Service Improvement."

Dr. Andrew Targowski, professor of BIS, published a book titled “Cognitive Informatics and Wisdom Development.” The book explores the role of wisdom in scholarly research and investigates the interdisciplinary approach to the topic
