Triny is a Senior with a major in Communication Studies and a double minor in Event Management and Marketing. CAB is where Triny feels at home and she loves all the people she's met here. If it were not for CAB, Triny would not have gotten involved on campus and missed out on the wonderful leadership experiences that it has to offer. She loves how versatile CAB is; although CAB focuses on campus programming, the different committees let students focus on their interests. One of her favorite things about CAB is that students are able to join at any time during the semester and still participate. Having been the Comedy Coordinator for the two previous years have made her appreciate the work and dedication of CABbies! CAB would not be successful without the love and support of everyone who attends meetings, volunteers at events, spread the word about CAB, and comes to the events as well. Mucho grande CABbie love!!

A second year student, Sean is a Pre-Film and Video Media Studies major within the School of Communications. He loves to talk to new people and promoting is something that comes second nature to him. Sean chose CAB because of the reach he feels it has on the students at WMU, and he recognizes the potential difference he can make through CAB, and the positive effect CAB might have on him. Other than being the Media Relations Coordinator for Campus Activities Board, Sean serves as part of the E-Board for the Western Swing Society, works as a Student Ambassador, and is very involved with his fraternity, FIJI. If you see Sean walking around campus, he will probably be smiling and if asked how he is doing, will reply with his catchphrase “Living the Dream!”.

Renee is a sophomore student majoring in Music Therapy. She is from Ferndale, Mi; a suburb not too far from Detroit. This is Renee’s first year on E-board. She joined CAB last year because she wanted learn about what there was to do on campus, and how she should could be apart of it. Renee loves that CAB gives students a chance to get involved on campus and also gives them a say of what they want to see. Everyone in the organization is so friendly, and after a long day, it’s nice to see everyone. She also admires the events put on by CAB; some of her best memories from freshman year include CAB events. Renee is very excited to be on E-Board this year. She is looking forward to all the events, and interacting with all the CABbies!

Hello! My name is Shane Hardin, and I am currently the Concert Coordinator of the Campus Activities Board. I am in my junior year here at Western. I am a Marketing major, with a minor in Event Management. I am from the very small town of Eau Claire, Michigan. This is my first full year with CAB, as I transferred to Western Michigan in the Spring of 2014 from Lake Michigan College. I like to spend my time either at the REC Center, or also by laying in my brand new, amazingly soft hammock. I enjoy long walks on the beach, and a nice pair of slacks. I love to sing and jam out in my car, and I'm a little jelly that I can't dance like Justin Timberlake. My "jams" include "Ignition" (remix) by R. Kelly, "Yeah" by Usher, "Magic Stick" by Lil Kim ft. 50 Cent, and anything with Fergie or Motley Crue! I love CAB because it really allows me to get involved on campus. I have made so many new friendships, and have gained so much valuable experience, all because CAB made me feel so welcomed right away. It has really helped me to better develop personal skills, and to also grow as a leader. Joining CAB has by far had the biggest impact on my college career thus far, and I am so glad that I gave this organization a chance to be a part of my life!
Hola! My name is Nayeli Sanchez! I am from Pullman, a small town on Michigan's west coast. I am a Freshman majoring in Global and International Studies, double minoring in Political Science and Chinese. I was elected Cultural Events Coordinator in my first spring semester at Western. I am involved in Emerging Leaders, College Democrats, and I just joined the Western Swing Society! I often find myself drifting to random gatherings or random people because I get really curious. I love meeting new people and the more different you act, dress or talk the more interesting you are to me. I think it's the cultural differences that make us all unique and interesting. When I'm not in CAB or wandering Western's campus looking for a random group or event, I am hanging out in my dorm on Tumblr, watching Supernatural, or doing homework. This year I am really excited to put on some awesome events, meet more CABbies, and be a part of such an amazing executive board!
