Jessica is a senior at WMU studying Organizational Communication and Event Management. This is her fourth year involved with Campus Activities Board and third year on the executive board. Prior to being President, Jessica was a general assembly member, Comedy Coordinator and Vice President. Jessica loves being a member of CAB and is looking forward to getting to know all of the CABbies and working alongside her fellow e-boarders to make this year one of the best CAB has ever had! Ashley is a senior from Canton, MI studying Organizational Communication and Event Management. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends, watching Netflix and napping. She is also involved in Drive Safe Kalamazoo, Western Student Association, Alpha Lambda Delta, as well as being a coordinator for the 2016 Bronco Bash and Homecoming Team. Ashley is so excited to spend her senior year in CAB spreading the CABbie love.
Mariah Armstrong is a Sophomore from Tecumseh, Michigan studying Advertisement and Promotion. From the very beginning of her career here at WMU, she has been a member of Campus Activities Board. Besides CAB, Mariah is also an active member in Intercultural Business Student Association, or IBSA, which is a fairly new RSO through the Haworth College of Business. This past summer, Mariah was an Orientation Student Leader here at WMU and now works in the First-Year Experience Office as a receptionist. She has also successfully completed the Bronze Certificate Program her first year and is moving onto the Silver Certificate this year. In her free time, Mariah likes to laugh at meme’s and eat
Joe Sanchez is a Sophomore from the Chicago suburb of Aurora, IL studying Aviation Management and Operations. He served as a senator for the College of Aviation during his first semester at WMU and as the Academic Affairs Chair for WSA throughout the end of the second semester in the Spring of 2016. Joe also served as the Treasurer for Western Michigan’s Campus Activities Board throughout his first year at WMU and was reelected for a second term for the 2016-2017 school year. He will also serves as the Treasurer for the National Gay Pilots Association. Additionally, he serves on the WSA Allocations Committee and has volunteered through Drive Safe Kalamazoo. Joe is a brother of Pi Kappa Phi and served as a Fall Welcome Ambassador and a Bronco Bash Zone Captain for the 2016-2017 school year. He also enjoys being dedicated to the College of Aviation as an Aviation Student Ambassador. He is an avid runner and enjoys traveling and reading in Spanish during his free time.
Nick is a second-year from Bloomfield Hills studying electrical engineering and physics. He's currently continuing to act as secretary of OUTspoken and a member of the LBGT Student Advisory Council. In addition, he's also an active member of Physics Club and Gamer Guild. In his free time, he enjoys watching anime and spending time with his friends.
Nigel Taylor , a native of Southfield, MI, is a BFA pursuing student who specializes in photo manipulation. His works have been featured in three student exhibitions including the photo intermedia Club art gallery in 2015. in his free time, Nigel enjoys long boarding, video games, and other shenanigans. Nigel Has been a member of Campus Activities board since 2015.
Maddie Boggs is a senior in the Art Education program at WMU! Maddie has been a part of CAB since her first year of CAB and this is her 2nd year on executive board. I'm her free time, you can find Maddie watching Chopped or some other cooking competition show. If you ever see Maddie feel free to talk to her about squirrels....she really likes squirrels.
Trent is a sophomore studying marketing with a minor in general business. During his first year he became involved with CAB through the general assembly, and later was voted onto the e-board as the Off-campus coordinator. What he enjoys most about CAB is the relationships that he has made and the impact that the organization has on campus. Trent is very excited for what the year has in store, and to see all of the new CABbies get involved!
Nicholas Bennett is on the Executive Board for CAB as theComedy Coordinator. He is in his second year at WMU and could not be happier. His major is Secondary Education- Social Studies with a minor in Geography. A fun fact he likes to share is he can whistle like a train and will do so upon request!
Lucija is a Sophomore, originally from Lansing, MI, who is majoring in Sales and Marketing at WMU. This is her second year being involved with CAB and is very honored to be sitting on the executive board as Miller Movie Coordinator this year. Outside of CAB, she is a LEADCorp intern, a Student Ambassador, and a member of the Global Business Student Association. In addition to of all of that, she attempts to volunteer as much as she can, some of them including Drive Safe Kalamazoo and Bronco Bash. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and trying and indulging in exotic foods.
Juliet is a senior with majors in Advertising/Promotion and Business Management! Besides CAB, Juliet is the President of the Student Leadership Advisory Board, a BUS 1000 Co-Instructor and a Facility Manager at the Bernhard Center. Her favorite experience with CAB was being the Concert Coordinator last year for the Panic! At The Disco show. She loved being able to bring a huge concert to campus and selling out Miller Auditorium! Upon graduation, she wishes to pursue a career in venue/event management for the NHL or PGA Tour. She is excited to be apart of CAB's Executive board again and what the future holds for CAB!
Nicholas Font is the concert coordinator of CAB for the 2016-2017 school year. Nick comes from Jonesville, MI and is in his third year at WMU studying geology. Other than being the concert coordinator, Nick works as a Resident Assistant at Eldridge/Fox in Valley III. In his free time Nick likes to listen to music and play frisbee.
Elisa Kaban is a Junior studying Public Relations with a minor in Event Management. She transferred all the way from Indonesia to WMU on her second year and has been involved with the Campus Activities Board ever since. She is excited to be the Cultural Events Coordinator this year and looking forward to see what CAB has to offer. Apart from being an Executive Board of CAB, she is also the Vice President for Indonesian Students Association. Her dream is to someday work in event management field or in the music industry. She loves meeting new people and cannot wait to meet the new and returning CABbies.
