- Career and Student Employment Services surveyed 5,382 WMU students graduating with bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees between August 2012 and June 2013. Sixty six percent (66%; N=3,567) responded to the online survey between August 2012 and October 2013 reporting their primary post-graduation activity.
- 87% (N=3,107) are actively engaged, which is defined as full-time employment, continuing education, military service, part-time employment, self-employment, or post-graduate internship/fellowship.
- Overall, 61.46% (N=1,587) of respondents completed an internship or another experience related to their field of study. Of those reporting full-time employment, 65.18% (N=878) had an internship prior to graduation.
