Career and Student Employment Services and Western Michigan University's School of Social Work are hosting the annual Social Services Day on Friday, January 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in room 4010 on the 4th floor of the College of Health and Human Services. The event will assist undergraduate and graduate students with finding internship and career opportunities within the field of social services and social justice.
The event is open to all WMU students and alumni. Students majoring in the following areas are strongly encouraged to attend: pre-social work, social work, counseling education/psychology, criminal justice, sociology, psychology, family studies, public administration. Students and alumni planning on attending the event should wear professional business attire and bring copies of their resumes.
Approximately 30 non-profit organizations and agencies from the state, the region, and throughout the nation will attend the event to promote their organizations as well as recruit and connect with WMU students for internships, volunteer opportunities and full-time positions.

Registered Employers: Tables for employers will be assigned on a first come-first serve basis until event capacity is reached.
Parking will be available in Lot 104 of the College of Health and Human Services for all registered employers. Please view the map for directions to the WMU Oakland Drive. In the drop box (Browse Buildings A-Z) select Health and Human Services to obtain driving directions to and from the College of Health and Human Services Building.
Employers needing to cancel their registration must notify Career and Student Employment Services on or before Friday, January 4, 2013 for a full event registration refund. After that time, all confirmations are made and no refunds will be provided.
