Internships

    What is an internship?

In most cases, internships are supervised, on-site work experiences that are directly related to their field(s) of study and/or career goals. Internships can be paid, unpaid, for-credit, or not-for-credit. Solid internships will include an evaluative component, giving students the opportunity to learn from their peers, supervisors, and about themselves.

    Value of internship?

Internships are like real-world laboratories in which students can apply classroom learning in professional settings. They allow students to further explore career pathways, learn from industry professionals, and expand their professional network. Students who complete internships are much more likely to land a full-time job in their chosen field after graduation.
