President Rex Bell embodies all that is Miller-Davis: he possesses an uncompromising will to provide the best construction services possible, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and exactly to customer specifications. Rex recognizes the implication of the company's long history of producing high quality buildings and believes each new and renovated structure satisfies important needs and can enhance life for everyone in the community. Joanna Johnson

Mrs. Johnson is the Managing Director of the Kalamazoo County Road Commission. As Managing Director she oversees the operations of the road commission which maintains over 1,260 miles of county roads, bridges and infrastructure. These operations include engineering, traffic services, road and sign maintenance and various construction activities. Prior to the Kalamazoo Country Road Commission she was employed by the Calhoun County Road Commission as its Assistant Managing Director for over 6 years. As a graduate of Western Michigan University's College of Business, her background also includes human resources and benefit administration. She is a board member of the Marshall area Chamber of Commerce where she served in various leadership positions over the years and a board member of the Marshall Community Credit Union. She holds various certifications and training in the construction and human resources field.

Timothy Mitchell

Mr. Mitchell graduated from Michigan State University (MSU) in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science and in 1981 Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan. As a Vice President and Principal of Soil & Materials Engineers, Inc (SME), he currently serves as a Regional Manager in Kalamazoo and Geotechnical Team Leader for SME's west Michigan offices. Mr. Mitchell specializes in providing geotechnical engineering, pavement engineering and construction materials evaluations, and serves as a senior contract or project manager on a wide variety of municipal, commercial and industrial projects for SME. Mr. Mitchell is a member of ASCE, MSPE, MSU Chapter Honor Member of CHI Epsilon, and the National Civil Engineering programs at MSU and Western Michigan University.

Paul Pagano

Paul Pagano graduated from Western Michigan University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. After graduation Paul accepted a position with a construction management firm as a project engineer. He is currently working as a field engineer with Building Restoration Inc., in Kalamazoo MI. As a past WMU Concrete Canoe captain, Paul continues to work with the team as a team advisor and often meets with students groups to provide assistance with class projects.

Kevin Phillips

Kevin Phillips graduated with a bachelor of science in civil engineering from WMU in 2010. In 2012 he graduated with a master of science in structural analysis and engineering construction management. Phillips joined the design team at Cook Nuclear Plant in St. Joseph, MI as a structural engineer in the summer of 2012.

Steven VandenBrink

Mr. VandenBrink graduated from Michigan Technological University in 1978 with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He holds professional licenses in the state of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and North Carolina and is member of MSPE, ASCE, AWWA and CSI. As Vice President of Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering, Inc. he is responsible for the production and technical aspects of the business and leads the company's quality assurance control program. He also is project manager for municipal road, drainage, sewer and water projects. Fleis & VanderBrink Engineering was formed in 1993 with primary focus on civil and environmental engineering, and construction management for municipal, county and state government. Currently they employ more than 100 people with offices in Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Muskegon, Midland and Traverse City, Michigan and in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Roberta "Bobbi" Welke

Since 1997 Bobbi has worked as the Southwest Region Engineer for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), responsible for providing leadership for all MDOT work in the nine county area of southwest Michigan. She began working for MDOT in 1984, primarily in the construction and executive areas. Between 1993 and 1997, she worked as the project manager for the design and construction of the second Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron, Michigan to Point Edward, Ontario. As a licensed professional engineer, Bobbi earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree at Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Engineering at the University of Michigan.
