Meet Marissa

"Faculty prioritize wellness and are always there to listen and assist you in any way possible because they want to see you succeed."

Marissa, a counseling psychology Master of Arts student describes her experience finding funding at Western Michigan University. Her assistantship in the Dorothy McGinnis Reading Center and Clinic, is housed within the College of Education and Human Development and allows her to stay connected to faculty. Additionally, discusses her experience with faculty and the importance of being in an accredited program.
