WMU FALL 2010 PORTFOLIO CONTEST

Sponsored by the Office of Assessment and Undergraduate Studies


Create an electronic portfolio using iWebfolio and submit it for the chance to win a cash prize!

$100 will be awarded to the top five individuals.


iWebfolio is a web-based electronic portfolio tool that gives students an individual, flexible, online, electronic portfolio powerful enough to store and reflect their educational growth and professional experiences.

All WMU students who are or will be using iWebfolio to create portfolio(s) for a class, program, or college level portfolio are invited to participate in the portfolio building competition. Portfolios will be formally judged in these areas:

  • Professional Look of Presentation
  • Creative use of iWebfolio
  • Content - Winning portfolios will include content that demonstrates:
    • Growth
    • Leadership Skills
    • Clear Purpose/Goal

The portfolio design should be:

  • Visually pleasing
  • Organized
  • Free of errors

If you use a template to create your portfolio, make sure to fill in all areas of the portfolio and really make it your own. Change the template, make your portfolio stand out and reflect who you are!
