The Friends of the University Libraries

Our Mission

The Friends of the University Libraries was established in 1992 to:

• Strengthens and supports the activities of the Western Michigan University Libraries
• Offers an opportunity for interested individuals to come together with a common interest in the library and cultural activities of the Libraries.
• Encourages gifts and bequests, including donations of appropriate bound and unbound materials.
• Assists in special projects and aids in the development of special collections.
