Images and Slides

University Libraries maintains several image collections in analog and digital formats. These collections hold still and moving images covering a variety of subjects relevant to the teaching curricula at WMU. Still images can be found on slides, image intensive CD-ROMs, and image databases. The slide and image-intensive CD-ROM collections housed in the Music and Dance Library in the Dalton Center contain general images of art, medieval manuscripts, photography, costume, anthropology, geography, and anatomy. The image databases focus heavily on art of the world. Books and journals found in the general stacks of Waldo Library are also excellent sources of still images. Moving images such as videos and DVDs are located in the Instructional Videotape Collection in Waldo Library. The library also subscribes to several streaming video collections.
