Paul Heidbreder currently is GateHouse Media’s Michigan Regional Manager overseeing 10 individual multimedia organizations: Cheboygan Daily Tribune, Coldwater Daily Reporter, Coldwater Shopping Guide, Flashes Shopping Guides, Flashes Commercial Printing Operations, The Holland Sentinel, The Hillsdale Daily News, Ionia Sentinel Standard, Sault Ste. Marie – Evening News, and The Sturgis Journal. He owned his family’s weekly newspaper, The Blissfield Advance, with his wife Kelly before selling it in the mid 1990s. Heidbreder held successful management positions with Paxton Media Group, Monroe Publishing, Lee Enterprises, and the former Guy Gannett Communications.

In addition to his regional management duties, Heidbreder is the publisher of The Daily Telegram in Adrian, Michigan. The Daily Telegram team has created two magazines and one of the most active, vibrant websites in southeastern Michigan under his leadership. The newspaper has earned numerous editorial awards from both Associated Press and the Michigan Press Association in recent years. The Daily Telegram production team has earned national awards for quality photo reproduction in both black and white and full color reproduction in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 from the Inland Newspaper Association.

Paul currently chairs the Lenawee County Economic Development Corporation. He has served on Rotary and Chamber boards throughout his career and is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
