Graduates with this degree may qualify for various human service positions:
- Leaders in public and private programs related to children and families
- Parent educators
- Child life specialists, and
- Early childhood educators in school readiness programs, child development centers, youth and community programs, and alternative education settings.
Student Organizations
The Family Studies Organization is a great way to get involved with the community and network and is an invaluable tool for all students. The organization addresses volunteer opportunities, guest speakers and job opportunities, among other issues, at their weekly meetings which are open to anyone.
