The Course 1 CPMP-Tools Help menu has been updated
and revised. Access
the comprehensive help system from any open tool window by clicking on
the
button.
Scroll through the A-Z index or Topics index to easily find the help content
you are looking for.
Strand Specific Changes:
Algebra
To access a new or saved data sheet within CAS, use the Data> option
within the File menu of the Home or Y= tabs.
In CAS, you can Set # of Digits in the Options menu.
Try the new features of the Spreadsheet such as
Show More Digits in Calculation (
),
Center Column (
),
Insert Row (
),
or Sort Rows by Column (
).
Geometry
Set the number of digits shown for a calculated object in Interactive
Geometry.
Select (
) a calculated object
(e.g., a length measurement), then choose Change
Style of Selected in
the Edit menu. Use the Digits drop-down
menu to set the number of digits to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6.
The Triangle Congruence custom tool has been updated. Access the
tool from the main CPMP-Tools page in the Geometry menu,
or from the Custom Tools menu of Interactive Geometry. See
the Help page for this tool for specific instructions on how to explore
triangle congruence.
The Interactive Geometry toolbar button for drawing Figures
or Polygons has
been updated:

The functionality of this option has not changed (click
once to place individual vertices, and double-click
to close (or end drawing) your figure or polygon).
Statistics
The Data Analysis Histogram
plot
has an expanded Options menu. Use this menu to display
a Grid, to Label
Bars, and to display Relative
Frequencies.
Simulation has been updated with new toolbar buttons. Access
this tool from the main CPMP-Tools page
in the Statistics menu.
The Data Analysis Scatterplot
options
have expanded to include the ability to:
Enter your own equation for a regression model (Choose Enter/Edit
a Model in the Scatterplot Models menu).
View a table of predicted values for drawn regression models. First draw
a moveable model (
) or
regression model (
) then
choose Show Predicted Value(s) in the Scatterplot
Options menu.
Discrete Math
The Vertex-Edge Graph toolbar button for drawing Vertices
or Edges
has been updated:

Click to draw vertices; click and drag from vertex to vertex to connect
them by an edge.
