READING REFLECTION #5

NOTE: Reflections will be posted each week to your group blog. Responses to other groups reflections on their blogs will be a comment post to those reflections. Please see rubric for Reading Reflections.

Covers Chapter 5, Project Management Strategies for Teachers and Learners, of Reinventing Project-Based Learning, p. 75 to 91.

Your reflection should include:

  1. Discussion on the potential pitfalls in project design.
  2. Discussion on the features of a good project.
  3. Discussion on where project ideas come from.
  4. Discussion on the steps to design a project.
  5. Discussion on how concepts in this chapter relate to your topic/project.

DUE DATE: Reflection is due by Friday, February 24, 2012. Responses to two other groups' reflections are due by Monday, February 27, 2012.

Continue to work on Collaborative Podcast

DUE DATE: By 11:59 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2012.

ASSIGNMENT II, PART B: By now, you should have discovered some new ideas for your Collaborative Project. Therefore, you need to revise your Collaborative Inspiration concept map. This should be discussed as a post in Blog of what changes you have found and what changes need to be changed. You will also need to decide which team member should download the free 30-day trial of Inspiration Trial (10 Megs) Kidspiration Trial (16 Megs)-- be sure that only one group member does this. Then the concept map needs to be revised. (It will be compared to first one for revisions.)

SUBMITTING ASSIGNMENT:Revised Collaborative Inspiration needs to be posted to your blog. Do not remove the first concept map... they should both be posted.

DUE DATE: Revised Collaborative Inspiration posted on blog by Friday, March 2, 2012.

NOTE: All assignments have specific due dates. Late assignments will lose 10 points for each WEEK they are late. NO EXCEPTIONS!
