Faculty Technology Committee
The Faculty Technology Committee is made up of one faculty member from each department
. The committee meets once per quarter with the primary goal of disseminating technology information to faculty and obtaining faculty input for the purpose of technology planning across the College of Education.
Purpose
- Collect/share CoEHD, University and external information regarding technology that impacts the CoEHD
- Gather/express needs and proposals generated by faculty
- Share thoughts and ideas about technology efforts/programs mounted in individual departments and units
- Identify problems/constraints associated with technology across the CoEHD
- Interface with department technology committees to share and gather information

Responsibilities of committee members
- Represent faculty of respective departments and units
- Report to faculty on a regular basis (preferably in faculty meetings)
- Gather pertinent information from units of representation
- Disseminate information in a timely fashion
- Attend meetings as needed
- Communicate with department chairs and office coordinators of the affected units
