Where are you from originally?

How and when did you first become interested in your field of study?
At 13 years old I knew I wanted to teach physical education.

What made you decide to pursue a career in higher education?
I realized teaching children was not all I thought it should be, so I decided to teach teachers instead.

Why did you choose to be a part of the academic community at WMU?
I was recruited and it fit my career plan at the time.

What do you enjoy about teaching the students of WMU?
How open, friendly and willing to take chances they are.

Describe WMU in three words:
Warm, open, supportive.

Anything Else:
I earned my M.S. in Exercise Physiology from the University of Florida, so I’m a bit north of my preferred climate.
