Letter to Alumni

Current Letter to Alumni

It is amazing how the winter months allow us to focus on our number one mission of educating the next generation of engineers and applied scientists. There is great activity at the Parkview Campus as the many student organizations plan for their spring meetings and conferences. The hum of senior design projects can be heard. And Engineering Week is upon us. The best part of it all is the positive feel within the building. We have set the bar high for our students, and they are demonstrating that a Bronco can do many things well (often at the same time).

All of this activity inside the building makes it clear that much is occurring outside as well. As always we greatly appreciate the alumni, friends, faculty, and staff who support us in our mission to educate the future engineers and applied scientists through their giving of their time, talent, and treasure. To help each of us keep the Brown and Gold with us at all times, we have struck a Challenge Coin for the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Upon graduation, our students receive their coin and join with us in furthering our mission to benefit society and to improve the world we all live in. This is what we are about. It is our very nature.

Visit us when you can; think of us often; be true to the Bronco spirit always.

- Anthony J. Vizzini, Dean
