Time and again, WMU has benifitted from the wonderful support of the professional community to assure its engineering, technology and applied sciences programs remain on the cutting edge and provide the kind of education industry demands. By serving on engineering advisory boards, acting as guest lecturers, sponsoring student design projects or contributing research equipment, the college's alumni and other engineering partners from the professional community have helped the college achieve its current reputation for turning out engineers well grounded in theory and its practical applications.
