PhD In Engineering And Applied Sciences

The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering and Applied Sciences (EAS) is designed to provide a flexible vehicle to tackle new and emerging areas of research that cut across multiple disciplines or are of interest to and within the expertise of  the College faculty. This program, however, is not intended to replace any of the existing PhD programs. The program requires the selection of a PhD champion before admission is granted. The role of the champion is to oversee the process from admissions to graduation to ensure compliance with all program requirements. This early intervention will serve to strengthen the student’s program and reduce the time to graduation. The champion will provide guidance to the student throughout the program and will serve as the chair of the dissertation committee.
