English Club

English club provides many great resources for English Language Learners especially focusing on business English. The site touches on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, writing, and reading. There are discussion forums, help centers for students and their school assignments, games, chat rooms, ecards, efriends, ebooks, EFL/ESL gift shop, EFL exams, a newsletter, and an informative web guide. The teacher-training portion of the site focuses on job availabilities, lesson plans, resources, discussions, handouts, and workshops to perform in your classroom. The business English portion of the site focuses on the education of the ESL student and preparation of them to go into the business world. It gives pointers on presentations and public speaking, money, correspondence, news, and vocabulary all as it pertains to the business world.

Dave's ESL Café is an easily searchable site with a lot of great information and links for students and teachers. This website, up and running since '95, has many great resources for those who are concerned with learning English as a second language. There are many different parts of this site including: message exchange, Idea Cookbook for teachers, Chat rooms, discussion forums, help center for students and their assignments, Hints of the day, Pronunciation Power which is an interactive software designed to teach our students the English language, and A TON of web guide links. This site also has resources for acquiring jobs teaching English as a second language in countries all over the world as well as a job wanted forum and a teacher in training forum.

This is a site that has separate student and teacher areas to the site. It is easy to read, search, and browse with many great resources for teachers and students alike. There are over 75 interactive quizzes and 15 discussion forums all dealing with helping students to develop, meet, and improve their English language skills. This is a free site, learning page, which is designed to give your students topic based English language practice. It contains student and teacher email exchange with others around the world, a shopping area for books and materials to improve English skills, teaching with film, video, and music ideas, ideas and materials to use in class, integrated skills, grammar, and teaching conversation. Along with lots of great links this site proves to be a wonderful resource for students and teachers of the ESL program.
