eTeaching Endorsement Program

The e-Teaching Endorsement Program is currently available to all faculty and graduate instructors who are interested in teaching a fully online or hybrid course (75% online, 25% face-to-face). The program consists of seven sessions with various presenters in areas covering:

• Instructional design basics
• Best practices for e-Learning
• Concept mapping to plan and design courses
• Hands-on training in Blackboard Vista

Each session will address specific topics including examples of usage in Desire 2 Learn. We will have you participate in online activities within the new Learning Management System shell’. This will allow you to become familiar with the resources available in Desire 2 Learn as well as provide a student’s view of the course platform. Through these sessions, you will be able to develop your own course.

This program will be offered on Thursdays May 12 - June 2 (May 12, 19, 26, and June 2), 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
