The Banquet

The Banquet
by Sebastien Rose

In a city that's lost its moral fibre, what sort of values can a father pass on to his daughter, a university professor to his students, a student leader to his supporters? In equal parts impassioned and jaded by his work, Bertrand is thrown into a situation where he must confront all his fears. His university's president is bulldozing his way through student protests in order to pursue his goal of expansion at any cost. Student leader Louis-Ferdinand, is torn between his head and his heart, between his ambitions for the students and those for himself. Natacha wants a fresh start but her past catches up to her and her only goal becomes to confront her father. Gilbert, a lost soul, doesn't really know why he's at university and by the time he figures it out, it's too late.
