A few words from the Coordinator:

Steve Booher
Congratulations on your decision to attend Western Michigan University. You will soon join the ranks of the many proud Broncos that have graced our campus in the past 110 years. Western Michigan University has countless points of pride and when you study here, you are learning from some of the best instructors in the country.

Your college years are a time of learning, exploration and self-discovery; there are many opportunities waiting for you. Your WMU journey begins with summer Orientation. You will make great connections with faculty and staff as well as other new students, many of whom could become your friends for life. You will leave Orientation with a lot of Bronco pride and the excitement of returning in September to begin your collegiate journey.

All incoming freshmen for fall 2013 are required to attend Summer Orientation as it is greatly important for your future success at WMU. Parents and families are strongly encouraged to attend as our two day program is designed for both students and families. We are looking forward to getting to know you and helping you make your transition to Western Michigan University.

With Bronco Pride;

Steve Booher
Orientation Coordinator

Remember that Orientation requires an overnight stay. Students must participate in the entire session they sign up for as they will register for classes on day 2. Students will stay on campus. Local hotels have provided discounts for parents/family.
