This workshop is ideally suited to graduate students who are about to enter into the dissertation process or who are still in the course work stage of their respective programs but would like access to information that anticipates the dissertation. Students writing master’s theses are also welcome to attend.

The goals of the workshop are as follows:

1. How to prepare for the dissertation experience
2. How to enhance communication with dissertation committee members
3. How to manage effectively the dissertation process
4. How to stay focused and “on task”
5. How to address writing concerns
