The M.S.W. program at WMU prepares students for direct-service and leadership positions in the field of social work by offering two concentrations: Interpersonal Practice and Policy, Planning, and Administration. Western Michigan University–Grand Rapids has been meeting the needs of social work students in the Tri-County Area for over 30 years. The Master of Social Work program has attracted applicants from Grand Rapids and surrounding counties because of our convenient schedule, personal approach to education, and national accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education.
