It will be a brief, informative session designed to assist you in your graduate school decision. Faculty and staff will be on hand to give presentations on program overview, field education, and the admission process. A question and answer session will follow.

We would like to share our excitement about this program by hosting an information open house for:

  • Candidates interested in the Fall 2012 Extended Degree Program
    (March 15, 2012 application deadline)
  • Recent BSW graduates interested in the Fall 2012 Advanced Standing Program

The M.S.W. program at WMU prepares students for direct-service and leadership positions in the field of social work by offering two concentrations:

Interpersonal Practice and Policy, Planning, and Administration.

Western Michigan University–Grand Rapids has been meeting the needs of social work students in the Tri-County Area for over 30 years. The Master of Social Work program has attracted applicants from Grand Rapids and surrounding counties because of our convenient schedule, personal approach to education, and national accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education.
