Cholesterol Screening

Do you know your numbers?

The American Heart Association recommends all adults age 20 or older have a fasting lipoprotein profile done once every 5 years.* This test measures total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, HDL (good) cholesterol and triglycerides.

*Some people need to have their cholesterol checked more often–ask your health care provider.
