Center for Disabilities Services artists express and earn

Among the many services of the Center for Disability Services is the Creative Abilities Art Studio, which affords adults with disabilities opportunities to express themselves through art and to sell their works. Through June 30, works from these artists will be on display in the in the College of Health and Human Services second floor art gallery.

The “Welcome Spring” exhibit explores the use of water color with vibrant natural themes and abstract designs. The public is invited to view the exhibit and meet some of the artists at a free reception on Wednesday, June 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. The works can also be viewed through June 30 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
