Welcome to the WMU Bronson School of Nursing,
home of the Lillian Wald Nursing Honor Society, the Upsilon Epsilon Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Linda ZoellerThe WMU Bronson School of Nursing (BSON) is committed to educating professional nurses who:

  • provide competent, relationship-based care,
  • assume leadership roles in evolving health care contexts, and
  • actively participate in the application of research to nursing practice.

We offer a pre-licensure track and a Registered Nurse (R.N.) track that lead to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree, and a Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) degree program that includes two areas of study: nurse leader/manager and nurse educator.

Both the B.S.N. and M.S.N. are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and BSON is one of few schools of nursing to receive endorsement from the American Holistic Nursing Certification Corporation.

Students benefit from the diverse clinical and research expertise of our faculty members and their commitment to teaching current and emerging nursing skills, while also helping students develop skills in management and research. State-of-the-art classrooms and labs—as well as low instructor to student ratios—allow for a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive.

Please explore our website to learn more about our programs. Our faculty and staff are always available to answer your questions and to share our passion for professional nursing.

Sincerely,

Linda H. Zoeller, Ph.D., R.N.
Director and Professor
