Currently, I am a teaching assistant for American History. I will be teaching World History from 1500 to the Present (HIST 3030) in Fall 2013.
My research interests are sites of contested space and narrative. In particular I focus on places in the urban environment that were sites of struggle or rebellion and of people working to gain their freedom or independence from an oppressive group. Countries of interest are Ireland, Germany, Poland, and Italy particularly during the World War I and World War II eras.
