Teaching

I teach a variety of courses in German history, modern Europe, American military, World War I, and World War II. I taught Archives Administration for quite a few years and also German film.

Research

My research interests are in German history - Imperial and Nazi Germany, especially Wilhelm II, German Film, Nazi cultural and social history.

Publications

Early in my career I published a number of books. In more recent times, because of the press of business I have published articles and many books reviews. I review books on a regular for all of the leading journals in history, particularly those in German history. I am a member of many historical associations - particularly those in German history, in the United States, Germany, and Great Britain. I also present papers on a regular at the leading, professional meetings.
