Teaching Since 2002, I have been teaching History 3290: Michigan History. Professional Experience I am the Regional History Curator for the Western Michigan University Archives and Regional History Collections. In addition, I have been in the public history field for thirty years working as a museum curator, speaker, historical researcher, writer and librarian. Research The main focus of my research is on state, regional and local history specializing on the history of Kalamazoo and its vicinity. Another area of interest is architectural history. Publications Kalamazoo Lost and Found (with Pamela O'Connor), Kalamazoo Commission for Historic Preservation, 2001. Other Professional Activies Since 2002 I lead free guided walking tours held during the summer and fall of various neighborhoods and other areas around Kalamazoo looking at their history and architecture sponsored by Gazelle Sports. I have been doing walking tours since 1980.
