
David Killingray is recently retired from the School of Oriental and African
Studies, University of London, and Goldsmiths' College. His specialty is African History with sub-specialties (and extensive publications) on Africans in WWI & WWII, and another specialization in Black Britons. He is currently working an article on Quobna Ottobah Cugoano's ideas in his Thoughts and Sentiments on the Evil of Slavery, which was published in London in 1787.
He will give a public lecture in 2303 Sangren on Tuesday Oct. 16th, 12:30-1:45 p.m.
